Liverpool Street Student Accommodation

Liverpool Street in London is known mainly for its railway station, but there’s a lot more to the area than transport (and memories of games of Monopoly!).

It’s mainly a business area close to the Square Mile with its corporate HQs, money dealers, international companies and Guildhall. But it’s also convenient for students, as Coventry University London, Newcastle University London and INTO City University are close to Liverpool Street. It’s also a transport hub, so would make an ideal base while you’re studying in the capital.

Sanctuary Students has three properties close to the area, which are ideal for students studying in London: Lilian Knowles House, Don Gratton House and The Craft Building. Each provides fully inclusive student accommodation close to Liverpool Street.

About Liverpool Street

Liverpool Street is within Bishopsgate on the corner of the City of London. It’s a busy area and a transport terminus and home to one of the busiest railway stations in the capital.

The station itself was opened in 1874 and has undergone recent renovations to bring it firmly into the 21st century.

The area around Liverpool Street is mainly commercial. As it borders the City of London, you’ll find a lot of office blocks and glass buildings. You’ll also find lots of pubs, bars and restaurants that serve the workers in the area, too!

As this is a mainly corporate part of town, it’s very busy during the week and quietens down a lot at the weekend. Don’t worry – it’s not a ghost town by any means, but you have a lot more freedom to roam without the crowds once it hits 5pm on a Friday.

Our Liverpool Street student accommodation provides easy access to the railway station, the City and transport links further into London.
