With Commercial Street running through the centre, the City being close by and colleges and universities all around, it’s an eclectic mix of people covering all types, cultures, languages and personalities.

There’s a lot going on in Shoreditch. It’s full of shopping, eating, pubs, bars, museums, Access Creative College, New City College, Mulberry Academy, City of London Academy, Broadgate Tower and local parks and attractions.

Spitalfields Market, Brick Lane Market, London Liverpool Street Market, the Royal London Hospital and other local landmarks are within a short walk or bus ride from our Shoreditch student accommodation.

Transport in Shoreditch

Shoreditch is a lively area with a lot going on. While we’re a tube or train ride from City Airport, Heathrow or Gatwick, we’re definitely not short of rail links.

Shoreditch is close to Liverpool Street Station, and Old Street Station and Shoreditch High Street tube keeps us connected, as does Moorgate and Aldgate tube.

The A10 and A501 go through Shoreditch, so if you’re driving, those provide a simple way to get around, although driving this close to the centre of London isn’t the easiest.

Buses run regularly with some routes running 24 hours a day while others are daytime only. They run every few minutes and provide a cheap, reliable way to get to and from your Shoreditch student accommodation.

Student life in Shoreditch

Shoreditch may not have the reputation of places like Islington or Bloomsbury but it’s a nice place to be a student. There is a real mix of cultures, people, architecture, entertainment and everything that makes life worth living.

Like many areas of London, it’s a melting pot of cultures that provide a superb opportunity to learn, explore and to grow.

Shoreditch is also great for shopping, dining, entertainment and has a few parks to enjoy the summer sun.

It is close to Queen Mary University of London, the London School of Economics, City University of London, CASS Business School and University of Law, London College of Fashion, Newcastle University London and local schools and colleges.

Plentiful transport links mean it's no problem if you study further afield, either, as most universities are just a tube ride away from our student housing in Shoreditch.
