Transport in London

London is also well connected by rail and has some of the world’s most famous railway stations. Those stations include Waterloo, Paddington, Euston, King’s Cross St Pancras, Liverpool Street and Clapham Junction.
Each station serves a different region of the country and provides local and intercity rail services.
The London Underground, or Tube, offers subway links across the city. There are numerous lines covering inner and outer London, many of which run 24/7.
London is surrounded by the M25 motorway which links the city with other motorways and smaller roads. Those motorway links include the M1, M11, A12, M2, M3, M4 and thousands of smaller roads.
Buses in London are plentiful and will often run 24/7. Local buses are run by Transport for London while coaches run across the country from various stations within the city.
Black cabs are also plentiful and can be hailed from any roadside or ordered via an app.

There is no central shopping district in London as it’s too spread out for that, but Chinatown, Oxford Street, Regent Street, St James’s, Bond Street, Mayfair, Westfield, Carnaby Street, Covent Garden and the King's Road are all worth visiting.
