Sanctuary Students has two student studios in Preston: one on Moor Lane and the other on Walker Street. 

Moor Lane Halls has everything you need on your doorstep with the UCLan campus just a few minutes’ walk away. Round the corner is our Walker Street student accommodation, which is adjacent to the university campus.

Both are in central locations within a short distance of the University of Central Lancashire, as well as local shopping, dining and city highlights.

Preston has an efficient public transport system, with reliable buses and trains to get you around. The city is also very pedestrian-friendly, so you can easily walk to most places. For longer journeys, taxis, Uber, buses, and bicycles are readily available, while the train station and nearby motorways provide great links to the rest of the county.

The population is friendly and the city typically experiences fewer social and crime issues compared to other northern cities. Yes, our student studios in Preston are also open to students from Preston College and Royal Preston Hospital. While many of our residents study at the University of Central Lancashire, we welcome all students since we’re not affiliated with the university.
