Ormskirk student life
Ormskirk is a quintessential Lancashire market town. It’s friendly, modest and hard working. Edge Hill University has a large footprint here, so there are lots of student services, bars, pubs and restaurants around.
With Liverpool just a short train ride south, students tend to go there for entertainment, shopping and entertainment they can’t find locally. Rail services run regularly Monday to Saturday, but there’s no Sunday service, so Saturday nights out in Liverpool usually involve a shared taxi home.
Highlights of Ormskirk include Ormskirk Market, Chapel Gallery, WWT Martin Mere Wetland Centre, Ormskirk Civic Hall, Windmill Animal Farm, Rufford Top Lock, Natterjack Alpacas, Indoor Super Karting, The Green Room, Tap Room No12 and The Railway, Ormskirk.
