Liverpool
& LJMU

Liverpool is one of the UK’s most iconic student cities. Rich in culture, history, and music, the city has grown into a dynamic hub for higher education. LJMU plays a huge part in that, with two main campuses in the city: the City Campus and the Mount Pleasant Campus. These are spread across central Liverpool, blending seamlessly into the surrounding streets, shops, and communities. From day one, you'll feel like you belong!

The city is known for its legendary music scene, lively bars, and thriving arts scene. It has a rich heritage shaped by its historic role in trade and shipping, and it still holds a major presence in northern England today. Despite being a large metropolitan area, Liverpool remains incredibly welcoming and friendly. There’s always something to do, whether you’re catching up with friends over coffee, heading out for a night of live music, or exploring one of the many free museums and galleries. And thanks to excellent public transport and walkable streets, getting around is a breeze.

If you’re heading to LJMU, we offer ideal student accommodation options nearby at our Marybone Student Village and Grenville Street.
