How to apply
Remember, the email address you give us is the easiest way for us to contact you. We’ll be sending you an e-contract as well as updates and arrival information during term time and holiday periods. We wouldn’t want you to miss out on anything!
You’ll need to provide us with your guarantor's personal details - someone who is legally obliged to pay the rent if you can’t. This person must be over 18 years old, in full-time employment and a UK resident and homeowner. Remember, you’ll need to get their consent before providing us with their details.
If you do not have a suitable guarantor, payment will need to be made in full. Please contact the office staff to arrange this.
When you accept your offer of accommodation you’ll need to pay a £1 contract fee and set up a recurring card payment relating to your chosen rent instalments.

We know there’s a lot to remember. Use our checklist to make sure you’ve done everything you need to do.
- Have you returned your Guarantor Deed and proof of address?
- Have you send in two passport sized photos of yourself?
Head straight to our reception area at the front of the building to collect your keys. Make sure you don’t forget your photographic ID (either a driving license or passport).
Let us know if you’re going to be running late so we can arrange for your keys to be left with the security guard. We won’t be able to arrange this for you unless you notify us in advance as the keys are safely locked away overnight.
Parking and Luggage
We haven’t got any parking facilities but you’ll be allowed 20 minutes to unload your luggage just outside the accommodation. We then ask that you park elsewhere to allow others to do the same.

Please see a guide to our cancellation policy below and refer to your tenancy agreement for full cancellation details.
The distance selling regulations and your rights to cancel this agreement
Your accommodation has been selected by you via the internet, and therefore the distance selling regulations will apply to this agreement. The following cancellation rights will apply:
Seven days after confirmation of this agreement
The Distance Selling Regulations entitle you to cancel this agreement without penalty during seven working days starting from the date after you confirm this agreement (the statutory cancellation period).
The statutory cancellation period will apply from whenever you confirm this agreement. However you will not be able to cancel on this basis after you have moved into the property, so if you confirm this agreement during the last seven days before you move in, your cancellation period will be shorter.
If you wish to cancel this agreement after the statutory cancellation period, the following additional rights will apply:
Up to and including 45 days before the start of your tenancy
You can cancel at any time during this period, but there will be an administration charge of £50.
During the last 45 days before the start of your tenancy – you will only be able to cancel this agreement if a suitable replacement tenant is found to take your place. Either you can find a suitable replacement tenant yourself, or we can find one for you. However if it is left to us, we will only do this after all our other rooms have been let. In either case there will be an administration charge of £50.
Note: If no replacement tenant is found, you will be responsible for payment of the rent in full, even if you do not move in to the property.
Cancellation / Refunds
If you wish to cancel this agreement, you should let us know as soon as possible. Written cancellation / refund requests should be made to your on-site team. Refunds are normally processed within 14 working days.

If you are bringing a TV to watch live TV, or if you receive or record live TV programmes on any other device, such as a laptop, you will need a TV Licence. You won’t be covered by your parents’ licence. Our TV licences only cover the TVs that we provide, for example in common rooms and lounge areas.
For more information and to buy your licence, visit the TV Licencing website. There are a variety of payment plans available.
The TV licensing authorities recognise that most students do not need the final three months of a TV licence as you leave the accommodation during the summer. You may be able to receive a refund for this period, provided that you don’t need your licence again before it expires.
If you do not have a TV Licence but you receive or record live TV you could face prosecution from the TV Licensing Authority.
