Our doors are open and we’ve welcomed students to our halls for the 2020/21 academic year.
Whilst your university course might not have started when you expected, and things are a little different, we’re working hard to ensure you have a safe and secure home for you to make the most of student life and have the best student experience in your home-away-from-home.
We’ve put lots of practical measures in place across our properties to make sure your student home is a safe and secure place to live whilst ensuring we help protect our students and staff.
We have made changes to each of our properties which mean things may be slightly different to what you expected or have experienced if you’ve stayed with us before. We want you to feel at home and we hope these changes mean you feel reassured that we’re doing all we can to provide you with a maintained, safe and secure home.
We've produced a guide (PDF 838KB) for our students which details the adjustments we’ve made to shared spaces, repairs, rooms visits and on-site facilities such as the common room, laundry and reception.
You can also check out our latest video below to see what changes we’ve made to our properties.
Guidance and advice
We have taken the necessary steps across our properties to ensure the safety of our students and we are following Government advice and continue to adapt our approach to social distancing and health and safety as guidelines are updated.
We recommend students read the latest Government guide to Covid-19 from the Office for Students.
We continue to monitor Government guidelines and our properties will remain open if any lockdowns are imposed.
